During Plant Matter Kitchen’s Grand Opening on August 11th, people came hungry, hearts went home full, and lots of friends were made. The evening reminded co-owners Glenn Whitehead and Melanie Wendt just why they opened this vegan eatery to begin with—to gather like-minded people under one roof, so they could feed them, converse with them, and provide them with a welcoming, communal space as well as delicious, organic, plant-based meals.
