Great Veggie Bites

GREAT VEGGIE BITES

Great Veggie Bites began out of my desire to support my two middle daughters’ interest in following my lead to becoming vegetarian. They were willing to eat this way, but only if it was as easy for them at home with their mom, as it was when they were with me. I am a divorced father of four, and it was a challenge to determine how to encourage their interest during the time that they were with their mother. She isn’t vegetarian, and has a very busy workload with her career; and found it difficult to juggle meeting everyone’s needs and desires when it came to meals.

Cape & Apron

Cape & Apron started by experimenting with new recipes and adapting old family favourites. After 5 years of serious trial and error, they came up with some great quality recipes, mixes and products that they are truly proud of. Their commercially certified facility processes NO Wheat, Gluten or Animal products, and their flour is freshly ground and locally sourced from a Celiac Certified mill. 2021 will mark the third season Cape & Apron has been part of the local St. Mary’s Farmers’ Market scene.

Marshalls Pasta Logo

Marshall's PAsta

Marshall’s Pasta and Bakery is a family-owned and family centered restaurant specializing in homemade Italian food. Operated and owned by Blake and Jodie Marshall and their 4 young daughters.

After playing pro-football for eight years in Edmonton, injuries forced Blake to seek a second career. Blake’s love of Italian food and cooking inspired him to open Marshall’s Pasta and Bakery, after Blake & Jodie studied the business of “pasta”. They created a business plan and chose London for their location because Blake attended the University of Western and loved the city and the people.

Patricks beans

When it comes to quality Canadian coffee, forget the name Tim, and remember the name Patrick. Roasted in small batches, Patrick’s Beans is the favourite local brew for coffee connoisseurs. With twin passions of roasting and supporting local, Patrick’s Beans provides Londoners with high quality, ethically sourced, and humorously named, caffeine fix. Patrick blended special PMK medium and dark roasts just for us—try a mug to accompany a treat from our baked goods bar.

Booch Logo

Booch

Great tasting and great for your gut health, Booch’s craft-brewed kombucha is locally made from organic ingredients using traditional craft-brewing techniques. With a taste described as a slightly fizzy iced tea, Booch is refreshing on its own, or great as an accompaniment to our weekly seasonal feature. A variety of flavours available on tap or in bottle.

Beau's

Organic, handcrafted, and brewed in small batches, Beau’s beer is a favourite province-wide. Employee-owned, community-backed, and family-made in Vankleek Hill outside of Ottawa. Beau’s beer is not only delicious, but is made with quality ingredients and spring water, and practices environmental stewardship in its brewing processes and in its packaging. A pint of Lugtread is the perfect way to wash down our vegan burger or mac n’ cheese.

Anderson Craft Ales

100% family-owned and operated, Anderson Ales’ brewhouse, located in Old East Village, is part of the community-focus and thriving artisanal craft movement. Anderson Ales’ award-winning brewers focus on small batch processing and offer two signature brews: the hoppy Anderson IPA (perfect with curry) and the malty Anderson Amber (washes our pizza down deliciously). We’re pleased to be among the first London restaurants to offer Anderson Ales on tap!
