Common Ground Farm

From carrots to tomatoes to eggplant, Common Ground’s CSA program--aka vegetable in a box program--provides its 100 members with organic and locally grown vegetables. These vegetables can be found in PMK’s various vegan dishes -- come taste them for yourself! We advocate for Common Ground’s community-supported agriculture program and overall environmental culture, which implies that the farm is where the heart is.

At 197 years old, Arva Flour Mills is one of Canada’s oldest historical businesses. Arva runs their grain through 12 different sifting processes, for customers all around Southern Ontario, including PMK. True to flour in its traditional form, Arva’s all natural and organic products are rich with vitamins and nutritional integrity--and we love that! PMK gets most of its baked good materials from Arva--our desserts and tortillas wouldn’t be the same without them.

When it comes to quality Canadian coffee, forget the name Tim, and remember the name Patrick. Roasted in small batches, Patrick’s Beans is the favourite local brew for coffee connoisseurs. With twin passions of roasting and supporting local, Patrick’s Beans provides Londoners with high quality, ethically sourced, and humorously named, caffeine fix. Patrick blended special PMK medium and dark roasts just for us—try a mug to accompany a treat from our baked goods bar.

Eco-Logic Farms

Since 1980, Eco-Logic has grown from a nursery into a transitional-organic farm, that uses organic fertilizer, recycled materials, and natural sources of energy. Widely involved in the community, Eco-Logic has an Ontario Environmental Farm Plan and is a member of the Ecological Farms of Ontario. PMK is proud to source produce from Eco-Logic while supporting their ethical and environmentally friendly farming practices

Organic, handcrafted, and brewed in small batches, Beau’s beer is a favourite province-wide. Employee-owned, community-backed, and family-made in Vankleek Hill outside of Ottawa. Beau’s beer is not only delicious, but is made with quality ingredients and spring water, and practices environmental stewardship in its brewing processes and in its packaging. A pint of Lugtread is the perfect way to wash down our vegan burger or mac n’ cheese.
